A Glorious 50th Anniversary Celebration
On a sun-kissed Saturday, June 22nd, the Auchincruive Croquet Club hosted its highly anticipated Annual Summer Golf Croquet Extravaganza, marking a momentous 50 years of club croquet. The day was a splendid success, drawing over 50 attendees, including club members, their guests, and a welcoming contingent from OIR (Opportunities in Retirement).
The festivities commenced at 1:30 PM, as participants and spectators gathered on the beautifully manicured lawns, eager to partake in an afternoon of friendly competition and celebration. The club’s history and achievements were fondly remembered, setting a nostalgic yet joyous tone for the event.

Funds of £100 raised during the extravaganza were generously donated to the Auchincruive River Garden Charity, which supports Independence from Drugs and Alcohol Scotland (IFDAS) at River Garden Auchincruive.
