New Members D Level (10+ Handicap) Tournament

2026 has been a good year for the club in attracting ten new members, so we are putting on a unique competition for them
“The Class of 26”
It will be a one day event scheduled for
Sunday 6th September 2026. Rough timings are 9.30 am – 5 pm.
Work is well underway, teaching our new members the art and mathematics of playing croquet and working out their handicaps ahead of the day! Check out the main whatsapp group for the sessions we have planned for learning the basics to help improve your game. The sessions are not just for new members but for anyone who feels like they would like to learn more to be able to have a more enjoyable game.

Notes from the Organiser
This will be a fun competition and will give you a flavour of what it is like to play competitively, should you wish to do so. It will be great experience should you wish to enter the club leagues next year.
We will be running a couple of sessions between now and September 6th where we will cover a few rules, to include but not exhaustive “what happens if you play the wrong ball” “when is your ball offside” “what is prolonged contact”?
