New Members D Level (10+ Handicap) Tournament
Sunday 6th September.
Following weeks of discussion, Steve and I have been asked by the Club Captain to put on a competition for the new and less experienced members of Auchincruive Croquet Club, which we are delighted to do.
It will be a one day event and is scheduled for Sunday 6th September 2026. Rough timings are 9.30 am – 5 pm.
For those who are interested but don’t yet have a handicap. then there is still plenty of time to arrange that, just register your interest and we’ll be in touch.

• Maximum of eight places
• Priority will go to new members and those with 2 years experience or less
• Minimum handicap of 10+
• Players can expect to play at least 4 games each.
• Prizes for winners and runner ups of both the competition and plate.
• Briefing at 9:30am.
• Play to start at 9:45am and expected finish at approximately 5:00pm.
• A maximum of 8 entries accepted and places will be allocated on a first come basis.
• Format will be modified if we do not have 8 entries.
Notes from the Organiser
This will be a fun competition and will give you a flavour of what it is like to play competitively, should you wish to do so. It will be great experience should you wish to enter the club leagues next year.
We will be running a couple of sessions between now and September 6th where we will cover a few rules, to include but not exhaustive “what happens if you play the wrong ball” “when is your ball offside” “what is prolonged contact”?
