Auchincruive D Level (10+ Handicap) Tournament
Sunday 16th August.
We are introducing this Golf Croquet singles level play tournament for players with a handicap of 10 or higher and it will take place on Sunday 16th August.
Members without an active handicap wishing to play are encouraged to apply and we will get you an updated handicap.
It’s a great opportunity to play some competitive croquet within a standard SCA tournament setup with club peers in a friendly environment. It also has prizes!

• Single 13pt games, time limited to 50 minutes.
• Two all-play-all blocks of 4 players, followed by a knockout with the top 2 from each block qualifying for semi-finals.
• Block winners to be decided by points, then hoop difference, then head-to-head result.
• There will be a plate event for the bottom two in each block following the same format as main knockout.
• Players can expect to play at least 4 games each.
• Prizes for winners and runner ups of both the competition and plate.
• Briefing at 09:30am.
• Play to start at 09:45am and expected finish before 5pm.
• A maximum of 8 entries accepted and places will be allocated on a first come basis.
• Format will be modified if we do not have 8 entries.
Notes from the Captain
Due to the high demand from both new and established members, the September 6th tournament, organised by Joy & Steve will now be reserved mainly for new members (Class of 26). A separate tournament for established players is to take place on Sunday 16th August.
Players allocated a place in the September 6th tournament may apply but priority will be given to other members.
Players who were not allocated a place in the September 6th tournament will be given priority, and all other places will be allocated on a first come basis.
