Sixty years of croquet

A game for anyone, male or female, aged 9 to 99

Auchincruive is a small croquet club based three miles from Ayr in the historic landscape of the River Ayr gorge and overlooked by the spectacular Adam mansion, Oswald Hall.

The club evolved from a lunchtime Golf Croquet club established in the 1960s by staff of the West of Scotland Agricultural College, but after discovering the flourishing Scottish croquet scene in the 1970s adopted Association Croquet and has had members playing throughout the country, including several “All-England” finalists.

The club is open to all and meets every Thursday evening from mid-April to the end of September.  It also holds several small tournaments, including a doubles Golf Croquet tournament on a Saturday at midsummer.
