Dave Farrow, Chairman, gave his thanks on behalf of the club to all who had supported the club in many ways over the last year.

Captain’s report
Kevin Wright, Captain, reported a very successful season:
- A good number of entries in the Golf Croquet doubles which Kenny and Malcolm won
- Steve Rivett convincingly winning the Golf Croquet handicap singles
- The Golf Croquet team (Malcolm, Kenny and Steve) doing very well in the SCA Interclub competition.(2nd)
- Auchincruive winning the SCA BTQ Association Croquet handicap competition.
- Auchincruive winning the SCA Wilkinson Sword Association Croquet double competition
- An enjoyable day for all when we hosted the Glasgow Croquet club for a day of golf croquet

Treasurer’s report
The Accounts were circulated and reviewed by Malcolm Smith, Treasurer.
These were formally approved. Proposed: D Johnston, Seconded: K MacIsaac
- Membership Fees will stay as last Year. (£30 per year)
- Will members please pay subscription to Malcolm by 31st May 23
- Bank details will be provided for those who wish to pay by direct Transfer.

It was unanimously approved that Joyce Arnot would also take on the role of Membership secretary in addition to
Social secretary.

Health and Safety
Malcolm reported on related issues:
- Club is insured through membership of Scottish Croquet Association (Club Members)
- The OIR have separate insurance cover for OIR members
- The booking system gives us a record of who is at the lawns
- There have been no changes in legislation in relation the H&S matters

Planned Competitions will be:
- Golf Croquet Doubles, run throughout the season.
- Auchincruive Fun day: 24th June 2023
- Golf Croquet handicap singles. Format to be changed from last year.
Action: K Wright: Advise Format, By: April 23. - Invite from Glasgow Croquet for a ‘friendly’ Golf Croquet competition. Date TBA
- SCA Competitions
- Golf Croquet Interclub (Handicap). Run throughout season. We will be entering one or possibly two
teams. Please advise K Wright or M Smith if interested in playing for club - Association Croquet Interclub (Handicap). Run throughout season. We will be entering one team.
- Basil Townsend Quaich (BTQ). Association Croquet one day interclub handicap competition hosted
by Auchincruive. Date: 23rd July 2023. (Note: lawns will be unavailable that day) - Wilkinson Sword. Association Croquet doubles handicap competition, hosted by Glasgow Croquet
club.
- Golf Croquet Interclub (Handicap). Run throughout season. We will be entering one or possibly two

Constitution
No progress on this.
Action: D Farrow to develop a draft based on Edinburgh Croquet Club Constitution. By: 30th June 2023.

Any other business
- M Smith expressed his thanks, which was supported by all, to Alex Crawford for his support in keeping the lawn
mower running and repairing many mallets. - Marion Imrie advised she had been asked by the bothy if they could play croquet as part of their staff social evening.
General consensus was we could provide one or two sessions throughout year. S Rivett volunteered to liaise with the
Bothy. - Access road was discussed at detail, and Joyce made it clear that we are very dependent on Neogen and the Bothy
for our club and we need to stay on good terms. - Malcolm advised this will be the 50th Season for Auchincruive. A special event may be organised to celebrate this.
